Knorr rice curry

Looking for something easy to make that goes well with meat or chicken, well Knorr's Rice with Curry (made in Israel) pretty much does what it says on the packet.

You empty its contents into a saucepan, add 300ml of water, bring it all to the boil and then simmer for five minutes and you've then got a hot and tasty side dish to go with your meal.

If you don't have the time to wait to bring it to the boil, you can also cook it in the microwave, but when it's this easy anyway, waiting a few minutes for it to boil shouldn't be an issue.

So how does it rate? Very good. The vegetables once rehydrated consist of carrots, onions and green beans and you can actually taste them. It's not spicy hot, going down your mouth you can taste the delicate flavours of the spices that have been added to it. A mild taste that works well with beef and chicken. Of course, for vegetarians it can also work well with tofu and soya meat substitutes.

This is an easy to make product, but the quality of ingredients is there. And it's important to note that when they say simmer for five minutes they do mean it, Keeping it too long on the stove, means you could end up with some burning to the rice. Just follow the Knorr instructions and you'll be in safe hands for a perfect curry rice.

How many does it serve? You will have enough for two people who have largish appetite and no other side dish or it can serve three people when served alongside another dish.
